Anti-pattern: drafting in printed order
Students who write Chapter I first usually rewrite it three times because the system underneath kept evolving. By the time the abstract is due, the introduction no longer matches the methodology.
Save yourself the rewrite. Start with Chapter III.
Mentor’s tip: Write Chapter III first. Everything else falls into place once the methodology is locked. Students who follow this order finish faster and rewrite less.
